At this time, there are no scheduled Alateen meetings around the Sunnyside, Washington area. But that does not mean that young people cannot get support.
Anyone can attend an Al-Anon meeting at any time; regardless of their age. Teenagers are welcome to come to their local Al-Anon meeting to get support. Also, Alateen offers online chat meetings on a regular schedule at different times throughout the week. This can be a great way for them to get support.
Alateen chat meetings are only for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18. The meetings are supervised by adults.

It can be very difficult and challenging to recover from a drug or alcohol addiction. In fact, there are many people who find that while AA and NA are helpful, they do not provide enough support. These individuals need something a little more substantial to help them be successful. These are the people who would benefit the most from professional treatment.
At Northpoint Seattle, our intensive outpatient program is both flexible and effective. It allows people to get the treatment they need while they live at home, go to work or attend school. For those who are in need of detoxification services, we can refer for medical detox to ensure they get the help they require to be successful.
Our facility is located about two hours and 45 minutes away from Sunnyside, Washington. That makes it a convenient way to get assistance and support.
