There are a few different Sumner rehab programs. They are the foundation of addiction recovery.
Inpatient rehab will last for a few weeks and you stay in a residential setting. Upon admission, you’ll be assessed. This information will allow the clinic to give you a tailored program suited for your needs. There is quality, immersive treatment daily.
PHP isn’t a rehab program but a transition program. You’ll be staying in sober living or hospital setting. There is flexibility in the program where you choose what treatment you want. These programs can last from 3-6 months.
Outpatient programs are not residential so you’ll be staying at home while going through rehab. They are low cost and flexible but the freedom might put you at risk of relapse. If you have something more than mild addiction but can’t attend inpatient, there is IOP. The treatment is similar to inpatient rehab but you can continue on with life’s obligations. The treatments take place at an addiction facility 3-5 times a week.
Detox is the first step you’ll take. This is the process of getting the substance out of your body. There are various methods that a professional detox center will use. You are monitored to ensure no health complications arise. Detox will come with withdrawal symptoms that are challenging to manage. It’s advised that you get professional help through the detox stage.

Inpatient rehab is known to be the best program for addiction recovery. That doesn’t mean it will work for everyone however. If you have commitments at home or can’t afford inpatient rehab, there is IOP. You can stay at home while getting similar treatments to an inpatient rehab program. They last for 90 days and give you the tools and support you need when you can’t make it to inpatient rehab.
