Sometimes people are certain that they need addiction treatment because they’ve tried to stop their use of drugs or alcohol in the past, but found that they couldn’t. If you’re not sure whether or not you would be considered a candidate for addiction treatment, we provide a professional assessment, and we can give you a recommendation for treatment at our Northpoint Seattle location.
You’ll probably be quite surprised when you begin alcohol and drug rehab at Northpoint Seattle. Our facility is very clean, comfortable and inviting. You’ll meet with a counselor regularly, and you’ll receive a personalized treatment plan that has been created specifically for you. You may go through detox, and you’ll participate in groups and physical activities that will promote healing from your addiction. We also offer therapies for mental health disorders, CBT and DBT, meditative therapy, and family therapy.
This is an individual decision for each patient, and recommendations are made based on the type of addiction you have. Most patients find that they benefit tremendously from drug and alcohol detox.
We offer safe and effective medical detox from alcohol, benzos, cocaine, heroin, meth, opioids/opiates, and prescription drugs.
Our program is designed to treat every aspect of drug and alcohol addiction – from the physical dependence that causes drug and alcohol withdrawal to the underlying psychological conditions that contribute to substance use disorders. Supervised medical detox is often the first step in this process, and is not offered as a “stand-alone” service. Rather, it is the beginning step in our proven treatment plan.
An addiction treatment specialist will help you determine whether inpatient or outpatient treatment is best for your needs. Our Seattle location offers inpatient medical detox and rehab, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), as well as aftercare and alumni programs to ensure your lasting recovery.
Northpoint Seattle employs one LMSW, one LPC, and several Psych Techs. Also, we have many professionals as a part of our nursing staff who are all trained in addiction counseling.
During the beginning of your stay, you will most likely see your counselor every day. Our counseling team is available every day of the week, and you will always have someone available to provide you with support.
Upon your arrival to our Seattle location, you will be seen by a doctor who will do a complete evaluation. Any pressing medical problems you have will be addressed as soon as possible. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible care during your stay.
Unfortunately, we do not allow spouses or significant others to receive addiction treatment at the same time. This policy is in place to help us avoid potential problems or issues.
Northpoint Seattle offers addiction treatment for both men and women. However, we recognize that both genders have different needs during recovery, and so, some of our programs are targeted for specific genders in order to meet their needs.
Yes. Our staff members are sensitive to the needs of those who identify as a part of the LGBTQ community, and our goal is to offer treatment to everyone who comes through our doors.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate pet visits at this time.
All patients are encouraged to leave their cell phones and other electronics at home while they are getting addiction treatment at Northpoint Seattle. If this is not possible, these items can be locked in our safe until the conclusion of your stay.
Northpoint Seattle has designated areas for patients who smoke, and smoking is permitted. Patients must bring their own unopened packs of cigarettes, and patients who use chewing tobacco must use pouches.
We strive to keep our patient population low so as to provide the best possible treatment for our patients. At any one time, there may be as many as 22 patients receiving addiction treatment.
Physical exercise is such an important component of addiction treatment, and at Northpoint Seattle, you will participate in many different physical activities, including Yoga, aerobic exercise, and other activities.
The cost of treatment for each patient is different because of your needs and the length of your stay. However, you will receive a detailed outline of the costs, prior to your admission.
We recognize that not everyone is able to afford addiction treatment on their own, which is why we participate with so many different health insurance companies. We aim to minimize your out of pocket costs so that you can focus on your recovery, and not on the bill.
