Even though going to AA and NA meetings can be very helpful, this approach does not work for everyone. For instance, someone who has decided to recover for the first time may need a much higher level of care. That means the type of help that can only be offered on a professional level.
What many do not realize is that outpatient rehab can be just as effective as an inpatient program. The right treatment center will offer a detailed program that is completely tailored to the individual’s needs.
During rehab, the focus is on discovering and treating the cause of the addiction. Every person who uses substances does so for a reason. Once that reason is found out, the right treatment can be given. In many cases, the reason is due to a co-occurring disorder. Treating the condition gives the person a much better chance for a successful outcome.
Medical detox is the very first step in the recovery process for many people, depending on their addictions. This form of treatment allows the individual to take medications to help with withdrawal symptoms. In some cases, it may be required prior to starting rehab.
Our closest drug and alcohol rehab program to the Medical Lake area is Northpoint Seattle in Bellevue, Washington. We are located about four hours away.
Experiencing a successful recovery means finding the method of treatment or support that works well for you. We can help you discover what that method is so that you can get started right away.
